Today, PropUp proudly positions itself as the leading PropTech company, overseeing over 1.5 million property transactions every year.
Career Before PropUp
Embarking on PropUp, Ijaz demonstrated his leadership through various executive roles in technology businesses, including Chief Operating Officer (COO), Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Finance Director (FD), and Non-Executive Director (NED). His broad consulting work across startups, FinTech, Tech, and Real-Estate sectors emphasised strategy and finance, informed by his ventures into real estate investment. Through these experiences, Ijaz identified significant opportunities to innovate within the real estate domain through technology, seeking to streamline and enhance the buying, selling, and management processes.
Ijaz accumulated an impressive business and an eight-figure investment portfolio. He is also the Chief Executive of the PropUp group in has entities focusing on SME Mergers and Acquisitions and associated Advisory work. He also holds an interest in selected high-growth entities as an equity investor.
Academic Achievements
Ijaz's dedication to his field is further evidenced by his educational pursuits; he serves as a faculty member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and boasts an MBA from Warwick Business School. These achievements are a testament to his commitment to continuous improvement and leadership in the finance and real estate sectors.
